Engaging Visitors with Content

How to effectively deliver content that is conductive to marketing your business

Content marketing is essential for promoting your business online. Whether it is for your website or your social media platforms delivering great content is another important factor towards proving great customer service.
One of the absolute best ways to use this content online is through blogging.  Any business website can have a blog.  It takes very little time to set up. Some website providers provide their own that you can customize, others may choose to set up their own blog through Google Blogger, Wordpress, or Tumblr.  If done correctly, providing content that is rich in content related to your business will serve as another marketing tool for your business.

So how do you choose which content to write about?
When it comes to choosing content for your website logically the key to this process is to select content that will reflect your business. For example discuss about the challenges that your current market is experiencing, and what people can do to overcome from it.  Filling your website with actionable content will encourage your readers to log on to your site often, and will also keep them engaged in your products and services.

What if I am suffering from writers block?
Being able to provide fresh material all the time can become quite challenging, but here is an idea that you can use
Repurpose- Browse through your old content and pinpoint a sentence or paragraph that you can repurpose , expand and create a new concept with.

What about Social Media?
Some of us might experience the problem of keeping and providing good content to feed your followers. A great website to check out is ContentDJ.com.

So how can I get going?

*
Make a simple plan. Get your calendar out and mark down what topics you’ll discuss and when. Plan for at least 1 to 2 posts weekly. Then be sure to post that content on your blog or website.

*Engage your clients. Ask them what they’d like to see discussed on your blog.  They really do have some great ideas and can give you a bit of insight as a customer rather than a manager.

Things to remember?
Not all content is created equal. Don’t post something just for the sake of having space filled on a page. People don’t want to waste their time on worthless information.
Make sure your readers are provided a real value by reading your content and feel as though they have learned something.

If you follow these tips, your content will be a bit richer and result in more readers.

Great content + engaged readers = more awareness for your business!
